The lineup for this year’s festival will appeal to all audiences, with styles from American electric and soul blues, international blues and swing to everything in between:
12 to 1 PM - Joey Gilmore
1:30 to 3 PM - Doug Deming & the Jewel Tones
3:30 PM to 5 PM - Liz Mandeville
Kicking off the bash is Joey Gilmore, one of the last of the legends alive at 78 years old. He's an American electric blues and soul blues singer, songwriter and guitarist.
Following is Eastside Detroit native Doug Deming and the Jewel Tones. Now hailing from Florida’s Gulf Coast, he's garnered widespread attention for his deft guitar work and memorable songwriting.
American vocalist, songwriter and Chicago blues musician Liz Mandeville will finish out the day. She's known for her versatile voice, high-voltage performances, insightful songs and traditional blues guitar playing. She has written and produced hundreds of original songs, has received critical acclaim and has toured internationally. She also owns the record label Blue Kitty Music.
