Snook Haven's beer list boasts over 30 beers, many of which are brewed in local Florida craft breweries.
Craft beer fanatics, have you ever been to Snook Haven? If not, you've been missing out on one of the best beer meccas in Venice, Fla.
You won't find a better atmosphere for beer consumption. At the end of a half mile-long canopied dirt road, you'll find Snook Haven - a true testament to good 'ole Florida. The BBQ restaurant and former fish camp is located on the peaceful banks of the Myakka River underneath majestically picturesque Spanish Oaks. Find a table on its back deck to kick back and relax with an ice-cold craft brew and a plate piled high with delicious BBQ, smoked right there on site. Be on the lookout for some incredible wildlife - particularly gators. Guests have experienced hawk, manatee and armadillo sightings, among many others.
More in the mood for a "wilder" time? Another Snook Haven claim to fame is its fantastic lineup of live entertainment, which plays up to six days per week during its busy season from October through May. Grab a seat at the wooden picnic tables in front of its main stage and raise your glass to local bands like Bandana, Gator Creek, Divebombers and the oh-so-much-fun Gulf Coast Banjo Society. You can access the live entertainment calendar online at www.snookhaven.com/calendar to see Snook Haven's full schedule.
